Cancellation Policy

Thank you for taking the time to submit your paperwork in advance. To complete this process you are going to need your Reservation Number and Name on your Reservation. Please reach out at 1-877-356-9386 or at info@penobscotadventures.com

 

Please take the time to read your Whitewater Rafting Release Waiver before submitting.

Whitewater Rafting Release Form 
  1. If you are under the age of 18 and are not accompanied with a parent or guardian you cannot fill out your release forms online. Please print the forms by clicking on the link and ensuring the signature of a parent or guardian. Make sure to bring these with you signed.
  2. If the Reservation Number and Customer Number are not already filled in, please fill in the Reservation Number and Customer Number. Click the “Call Up Reservation” button and your reservation will be retrieved. 
  3. Please ensure that you have checked off Whitewater Rafting on your release form.
  4. Enter your name and contact information. If you think you are already on our mailing list, do not check off anything on the bottom. When your information is completed, click on the “Save Info” button.
  5. To recall/edit a participants name and address information, simply click on their name in the “Trip Box.” 
  6. To copy one contact information to another name, click on the “Copy Info” button, then fill in the missing information and click on the “Save Info” button. 
  7. Your completed paperwork will be ready for you to sign upon arrival for your Whitewater Rafting Check-in. Please submit all completed paperwork to info@penobscotadventures.com 
Penobscot Adventures Whitewater Rafting has an excellent safety record. Please be aware that our trips and activities are not without risk.
It should be recognized that accidents can, and do occur. 
All adventure participants must sign an Assumption of Risk and Agreement to Participate Form before participating in any activity with Penobscot Adventures II, LLC.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

*** $25.00 per person of your deposit is non-refundable and non-assignable ***

If written or verbal cancellation is received by PENOBSCOT ADVENTURES II, LLC 45 days prior to the activity date, a refund will be granted less applicable fees. Cancellations made within 45 days of the activity are non-refundable and non transferable. Refunds will not be issued for no-shows. Monies forfeited may not be applied to any balances that may be due. If PENOBSCOT ADVENTURES II, LLC cancels an activity, a full refund or rain check will be issued. 

DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND THE FINE PRINT

  • PENOBSCOT ADVENTURES II, LLC reserves the right to cancel trips, switch rivers, and change itineraries due to weather, water flow, and our professional discretion. Please know that we will communicate these changes to the best of our ability to ensure our customers can prepare appropriately. All of our activities run rain, snow or shine.
  • We require a deposit of 50% of the total reservation cost within 10 days of the date of booking. We can also take deposit payments individually from more than one person in a group and apply and itemize that payment toward the reservation. 
  • All reservations must be paid in full 45 days prior to the trip date. NOTICE: All reservations for which no deposit is received 45 days in advance may be automatically cancelled without further notice to you. 
  • For reservations made within 45 days of the trip date we require full payment when the reservation is made and that reservation is fully non refundable and non transferable at that time. Whitewater Rafting and our cabins/campground are in high demand and we enforce a strict cancellation policy.
  • Cancellations made within 45 days of the trip date are non-refundable. 
  • Cancellation Fee: $25.00/pp of your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. 
  • LODGING – Upon check out if we discover any damage or missing items, we will prepare a written estimate of the repair or replacement cost.  These charges will be charged to the credit card on file if other arrangements are not made with our office.  PLEASE note all accommodations are non-smoking. If we find that your accommodation(s) have been smoked in, an additional $100 per unit, per day charge will be applied to your credit card on file. 
  • ON RISK:

    All adventure participants must sign an Assumption of Risk and Agreement to Participate Form, before participating in any activity with PENOBSCOT ADVENTURES II, LLC. 

  • Finally, a few rules: Alcohol/Substance Consumption is prohibited prior to and during trips.  We reserve the right to refuse participation on the trip should our staff feel this rule has not been followed.
  • Our quiet hours at all lodging locations are 10pm-8am and are enforced to assure all our guests’ satisfaction. 
*Penobscot Adventures Whitewater Rafting INC reserves the right to switch rivers or rental locations if water, snow, or other weather conditions merit a change. All of our activities run rain, snow, or shine.*
