White Water Kayak Lessons
Paddling offers people of all ages the opportunity to experience the outdoors in an unique and exciting way. Paddling fosters personal growth physically, mentally, and emotionally. Navigating a whitewater rapid, even if its only class II, by yourself for the first time delivers an euphoric high that most people never experience. Equipment and teaching techniques have taken huge strides in the past five years. Its never been easier to learn.
Why should I learn with Penobscot Adventures?
Our instructors are the key to the paddling experience. All of our instructors teach because they love paddling. They spend their free time honing paddling skills. All of our instructors use ACA (American Canoe Association) certified whitewater teaching techniques.
White Water Kayaking Lessons at Penobscot Adventures
Lessons are:
- $170 per day for 1 person
- $150 per day for 2 people
- $140 per day for 3 people
- $125 per day for 4 or more
If your coming by yourself, but want a group rate kayaking clinics are scheduled as follows:
Novice 1: July
Covers
Whitewater Lessons at Penobscot Adventures Include:
- A Professional Maine White Water Kayaking Guide
- State of the art whitewater kayaking equipment
- Transportation to and from the Penobscot River
- Video of your day's whitewater kayaking progress
- A riverside BBQ featuring your choice of steak, boneless chicken breast, fish or a vegetarian burger all grilled over a hardwood fire
